Where Faith Meets Discovery

Hi, I’m Stephen.

When I was about eight years old, Christ called me. I responded in faith, was baptized, and walked with Him. But as I grew into my teens, my love for science began to feel like a barrier rather than a bridge. Everywhere I turned, the answers I needed were missing. The young-earth creationist crowd told me to stop asking questions, insisting that if I believed in evolution or deep time, I was betraying my faith. But the evidence I saw with my own eyes—the fossils, the stars, the DNA—didn’t fit that narrow picture.

Feeling unheard and confused, I drifted away. For years, I lived in a state of "atheism," convinced that faith and science were enemies.

It wasn’t until my early twenties that Christ called me home again. I finally found a path that honored both His Word and His world. I discovered that Genesis isn’t a science textbook—it’s a theological foundation. It tells us who created, why we’re here, and what went wrong. Science, on the other hand, helps us understand how creation unfolds. When I reconciled these two "books" of God’s revelation—Scripture and Nature—my faith returned, stronger and unafraid of questions.

Now, as a father, I see children everywhere going through the same struggle. They are curious. They are honest. And they are being told they have to choose between their faith and their minds. That breaks my heart.

Atoms and Adam exists to say: You don’t have to choose.

This site is for the 10-year-old wondering how dinosaurs and the Bible fit together.
It’s for the high school student wrestling with evolution in biology class.
It’s for the parent who wants to answer tough questions without lying or dodging.
And it’s for anyone who believes that truth—whether found in Scripture or in science—is always worth pursuing.

We’ll share book reviews, explore new scientific discoveries, dive into theology, and most importantly, we’ll listen to your questions. Because faith isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about trusting the One who does.

Let’s walk this road together—with open eyes, open hearts, and an unwavering hope in Christ.
